FAUNA ARTEFACT & HYPHAE COMPANION

  • The FaunaFang pendant is a solid sterling silver piece from the Symbio 1.0 Companion Artefacts jewellery collection. Inspired by the symbiotic relationships found in nature, it blends elements of fauna and flora, expressing a striking balance between delicate beauty and primal strength. Its sculptural design embodies a sense of connection between worlds, symbolising mutualism, transformation, and the preservation of natural harmony.

    Each 10cm pendant is housed in a blue bio-resin egg, cradled within the Hyphae Sculptural Box – a companion artefact 3D printed in silk-finish cornstarch PLA. The box takes its form from mycelium, the thread-like networks of fungi that nourish ecosystems. Just as mycelium sustains life beneath the forest floor, the Hyphae box nurtures and protects the pendant within.

    Together, the FaunaFang pendant and Hyphae Box form an interconnected artwork – a tribute to nature’s resilience, spirit guardianship, and the subtle threads that link all life.

The FaunaFang pendant is a sculptural 10cm solid sterling silver piece from the Symbio 1.0 Companion Artefacts jewellery collection.

Inspired by the natural balance between flora and fauna, it captures a striking duality — the delicate beauty of plant life and the fierce energy of animal forms. This unique design represents symbiosis, mutualism, and a deep connection between worlds.

The pendant is held within a blue bio-resin egg, which rests inside the Hyphae Sculptural Box — a companion artefact 3D printed in silky cornstarch PLA. Shaped like mycelium, the underground fungal networks that nourish ecosystems, the box symbolises the hidden threads that support life. It cradles and protects the pendant like a living organism nurturing its own.
